Creamy Crab Chowder

Ingredients

1/3 cup finely chopped onion
1 rib celery, finely chopped
1 stick butter
1 pound backfin crabmeat
1 egg yolk, hard-boiled, mashed
2 cups milk
1 cup half and half
1 teaspoon Greek seasoning
3 tablespoons dry sherry

Directions:

Sauté onion and celery in butter in saucepan over medium heat. Stir in crabmeat and chopped egg yolk; heat 2–3 minutes. Add milk, half-and-half, and seasoning. Heat, but do not boil. Simmer 20 minutes, stirring often. Just before serving, stir in sherry; heat and serve in warm bowls.
