Trim fat from pork chops. Heat oil in skillet and brown chops remove and sprinkle with salt and pepper. In drained skillet, melt butter. Blend in flour until smooth. Whisk in orange juice and water. Heat and stir until thick and bubbly. Add brown sugar and lemon juice. Return chops to sauce in skillet, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes. Place into an 11 x 8-inch baking dish. Cover, label, and freeze.
To serve, thaw chops. Place 1 thin onion slice and 1 orange slice atop each chop. Cover and bake at 350° F for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for 25 more minutes, basting occasionally.
