Heat gas, charcoal or electric grill.
Combine ground beef, 1/3 cup French onion dip, breadcrumbs, and salt. Shape meat mixture into 4 equally-sized patties. Grill over a hot grill for 15 minutes, turning once until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Spread remaining French onion dip on bottom of hamburger buns. Serve on buns with your favorite hamburger toppings.
VARIATION: Top burgers with a slice of Swiss cheese.
