Mix cake mix as directed. Put into 9x13-inch pan. Bake 12–15 minutes at 350°. Let cool. Combine cream cheese with 1/2 cup milk. Mix pudding with remaining 1 1/2 cups milk, then mix together with cream cheese mixture. Spread on cake and let set. Cover with pie filling. Serve topped with Cool Whip.
