Prize Orange Cake

Ingredients

1 1/3 cups sugar
3/4 cup butter
3 egg yolk, well-beaten
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup water
2-1/3 cups sifted flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon grated orange rind
3 egg whites, beaten well
1 recipe

Directions:

Cream sugar and butter together. Add egg yolks. Mix orange juice and water add alternately with flour, baking powder, and orange rind. Fold in egg whites. Bake at 375°F for 35 minutes. Frost with Seven Minute Frosting.
