Brush or spray the cauliflower and onion with vegetable oil. Grill the cauliflower over Direct Medium heat until evenly browned, 12 to 16 minutes, turning three times during grilling time. Grill the onion over Direct Medium heat until tender, 10 to 12 minutes, turning once halfway through grilling time. Cut the vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
TO MAKE THE SAUCE: In a large saucepan combine the butter, flour, curry powder, garlic, ginger, cumin, salt, and pepper. Blend well and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes. Add the apple juice and lemon juice. Raise heat to high and whisk the mixture as it comes to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes. Add the cauliflower, onions, raisins, and cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the cauliflower is tender, 3 to 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Serve warm.
