Ingredients

2 loaves bread or 24 hamburger buns
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup chopped celery
3 tablespoons parsley
1 tablespoon sage
1 tablespoon thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 cups mashed potatoes
1/2 cup chicken broth or milk

Directions:

Cut bread or buns in cubes. Melt butter in skillet and sauté chopped onions and chopped celery until tender. Add to bread. Add spices. Stir in potatoes adding broth or milk as needed to moisten. Place in greased baking dish and bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Cover if it starts getting too crisp.
