Yummy Spice Cupcakes:
In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and spices. Stir in sugar and butter. Mix in applesauce until well combined. Stir in raisins, if using. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes, until a toothpick tests clean. Cool completely. Frost with Vanilla Butter Cream Frosting.
Vanilla Butter Cream Frosting:
In a large bowl, beat butter until smooth. Add remaining ingredients; mix until smooth and creamy.
