In medium skillet cook ground beef and onion until meat loses its pink color and onion is transparent. Combine with Parmesan cheese, olives, seasonings, and tomato paste. Spread on cut surfaces of bread. Top with tomato and cheese slices. Broil 12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is crusty. While hot, slice and serve.
