Place chicken in a large pot; add broth and water. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for about 45 minutes, until chicken is done. Remove chicken from pot, reserving broth; let chicken cool for 30 minutes. Add soup to reserved broth in pot; stir to mix over medium heat. Pull chicken from bones and return to the pot. Add biscuit pieces. Simmer for 15 minutes, or until dumplings have puffed up, stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper to taste.
