Jezebel Raisin Sauce

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 (8-ounce) jar currant jelly
1 cup raisins, chopped
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

Directions:

Combine sugar and water in a large saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil; boil for 2 minutes, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add remaining ingredients; reduce heat to medium and cook until blended. Serve hot. Refrigerate any leftovers; reheat before serving.
