Mushroom Hamburgers

Ingredients

2 pounds ground chuck
2 tablespoons Worcestershire
12 saltine crackers, finely crushed
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 - 1 pint mushrooms, thinly sliced
1/2 onion, thinly sliced
1/2 stick butter
8 hamburger or hoagie buns

Directions:

Mix first 4 ingredients; form into patties and fry in large skillet till browned on both sides and cooked through. Remove patties and drain. In same skillet, sauté mushrooms and onion in butter till limp. Serve patties on toasted buns with a generous scoop of mushrooms and onion.
