Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (4-ounce) can diced green chili, with liquid
2 (8-ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
4 large flour tortillas
3/4 cup milk
1 (10 1/2-ounce) can cream of chicken soup, condensed
2 cups grated Cheddar cheese, divided

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a frying pan, brown ground beef and onion together until meat is no longer pink. Drain if necessary. Stir green chiles, tomato sauce, and taco seasoning into meat mixture.

Center 2 large tortillas over two greased pie pans. Press tortillas down to form bottom crust. Evenly divide meat mixture between pans. Lay remaining tortillas over tops, cutting to fit if necessary.

In a bowl, combine milk and condensed soup. Pour half the soup mixture evenly over each pie. Sprinkle 1 cup cheese over top. Cover with aluminum foil and bake 15 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese melts.

*One pie can be frozen to be used at a later date. Place the pie in the refrigerator 24 hours before baking. Bake thawed pie, covered in aluminum foil, at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese melts.
