Cream Soup Mix

Ingredients

1 cup powdered low-fat milk
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup instant chicken bouillon cubes
2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together. Store in an airtight container until ready to use. For the equivalent of 1 can of cream soup, substitute 1/3 cup dry mix and 1 1/4 cups cold water. Cook in a saucepan until thick.

Dry mix yields the equivalent of 9 cups of canned soup.
