Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and boil until they rise to the surface, about 5 minutes drain.
Heat half of the oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the gnocchi and sauté until they are dry and browned on their edges transfer to a serving bowl. Add the garlic to the pan and cook for about 30 seconds. Add the tomatoes and heat through. Add the remaining ingredients, including the remaining olive oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper and pour the sauce over the gnocchi before serving.
