Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta, stirring a few times to ensure that it does not stick to itself. Boil vigorously for the time recommended on the package or until the pasta is tender. Drain.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and the tomatillos and cook until almost dry. Add the cream, salt, and pepper and simmer until the cream thickens slightly, about 1 minute. Stir in the tequila, hot sauce, and cilantro. Toss with the hot pasta before serving.
