Another Good Cheesecake with Sour Cream

Ingredients

2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup butter (1 stick), melted
1 cup sugar, divided
4 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese
2 large eggs, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup sour cream

Directions:

Mix together graham cracker crumbs, butter and 2 tablespoons sugar (reserve 2 tablespoons of crumb mixture for garnish) press into sides and bottom of spring-form pan chill in freezer. Beat remaining sugar and cream cheese together until smooth and light. Beat eggs, vanilla and cornstarch until blended add to cream cheese mixture. Stir in sour cream. Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes then reduce heat to 200°F and bake for 45 minutes. Turn oven off and allow to cool for 3 hours with door open slightly. Remove sides from pan and sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture chill.
