Barbecued Chicken

Ingredients

chicken pieces
salt and pepper
onion slices
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
4 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons salad oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups tomato juice
3/4 cup vinegar
1 bay leaf

Directions:

Arrange chicken in shallow pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover with onion slices. Combine rest of ingredients for barbeque sauce. Pour sauce over chicken. Bake uncovered at 425°F for 30 minutes. Baste occasionally until chicken is tender.
