Soak beans overnight. Cook with lots of water drain. In olive oil, cook onion, garlic, cumin, and chili powder for about ten minutes, do not brown. Sauté ground beef and render out fat. Add meat and onion mixture to beans. Add water to make plenty of juice, so beans won't burn. Cover and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Serve with grated cheese and sour cream.
