Poached Eggs


Serves: 5

Ingredients

Directions:

1. In skillet or saucepan, bring 2 to 3 inches water and 1 tablespoon vinegar to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low.

2. Allow 1 egg per serving. Break each egg into shallow dish carefully place in water. Quickly spoon hot water over each egg until film forms over yolk.

3. Simmer about 5 minutes or until eggs are of desired doneness. With slotted spoon, remove eggs from water. Season to taste with salt and pepper. If desired, serve on buttered toast or English muffin.
