German Apple Cake

Ingredients

3 eggs
1 cup cooking oil
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 cups raw apples, chopped
1 cup nuts

Icing:
6 ounces cream cheese, softened
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar (more, if necessary)

Directions:

Beat eggs and oil until foamy. Add sugar and vanilla. Sift together flour, cinnamon, salt and baking soda, and add to sugar mixture. Add apples and nuts; mix well. Bake in 9x13x2-inch pan at 350° for 50–60 minutes.

For Icing:
Mix all ingredients together, and ice cake while still hot.
