Camp Pie


Serves: 5
Total Calories: 32

Ingredients

2 slices bread for each person
butter
pie filling, any flavor
sugar and cinnamon mixture

Directions:

Butter slices of bread as if you are making a grilled cheese sandwich. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon and sugar if desired.

Lay each slice in a sandwich iron butter side down.

Place about 1/4 cup of pie filling and put sandwich iron together.

Place iron in the hottest part of the fire for 3-5 minutes until the pie inside is lightly toasted on the outside.

Cut in half and cool slightly before eating.
