6 chicken breasts, boneless
1 cup water
1 package fajita seasoning mix
2 tablespoons salad oil
2 onions sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced in strips
1 red peppers, sliced in strips
12 flour tortillas
Remove skin from chicken breasts; cut breasts into strips. Marinate strips in 1 cup water and the fajitas seasoning mix for two hours. Heat oil in heavy saucepan and saute onions and green and red peppers till tender crisp. Remove vegetables from pan and add chicken strips, reserving marinade. Saute chicken till light brown. Add leftover marinade and simmer for five minutes. Return vegetables to pan and heat to mingle flavors. Spoon mixture onto warm tortillas. Fold over and, if desired, garnish with sour cream, salsa, guacamole, and slice of fresh lime.
