3 pounds pork tenderloin (4 tenderloins, each about 8 to 10 inches long)
3 cloves garlic minced
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon monosodium glutamate
1/4 teaspoon ginger
Red food coloring, (optional)
Green onion, chopped for garnish
Sesame seeds chopped for garnish
Place tenderloins in glass baking dish. Combine garlic, soy sauce, sugar, monosodium glutamate, ginger, and a drop or two of red food coloring; pour over meat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for several hours or overnight, turning a couple of times. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Cover meat and marinade with lid or aluminum foil and bake about 2 hours. When ready to serve, slice at an angle into serving pieces. Place on serving platter and pour marinade on top. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
