2 pounds salmon steaks
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup green onions, sliced
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons parsley snipped
3 tablespoons green bell peppers, chopped
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Place fish on greased rack in fry pan. Pour in 1 cup water. Cover with a lid and steam for 5 to 7 minutes, or until fish is done and flakes easily when tested with a fork. Remove from pan to a shallow dish. In a screw-top jar, place the remaining ingredients. Shake vigorously to combine; pour over fish. Cover and chill several hours or overnight. Spoon marinade over fish several times. Drain before serving. Serve cold.
