Curaco-Orange Sherbet w/Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

1 quart orange sherbet softened
4 tablespoons curacao or other orange-flavored liqueur
Grated rind from 1 orange
4 oranges peeled and sliced
1 cup rich chocolate sauce (your own or use a good brand)

Directions:

In a bowl, let sherbet soften a bit, then beat in the liqueur and the grated orange peel. Return to freezer until ready to use. Peel oranges and be sure to cut down far enough to remove white pith, then slice in fairly thin slices. Sprinkle with a bit more liqueur and refrigerate.

To assemble, on each dessert plate, put 3 slices of orange and 2 small scoops of sherbet on top. Pour some of the chocolate sauce over the sherbet and fruit.
