If using butter or margarine set it out and let warm to room temperature. (Hot summer days excepted). If your butter or margarine is in a plastic tub that will do, if using 1/4-lb sticks place them in a bowl and stir with a spoon. Add the pressed garlic and mix well. Let set for an hour or so then spread on bread. Just a hint which might save you some heart ache and grief. Always label this so folks don’t confuse it with regular butter. Take my word that using this on one’s pancakes with maple syrup will not bring a smile to the face of a hungry elk hunter.
*NOTE: I use one clove of garlic per 1/4-lb of butter. For real garlic lovers use big cloves.
