Quiche-y Crescent Cups

Ingredients

1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner roll
1/3 cup shredded gruyére cheese
4 green onions, sliced
1 tablespoon diced pimientos
1 large egg
3 tablespoons whipping cream

Directions:

Unroll dough and press into a 9x12-inch rectangle; seal perforations. Cut into 12 equal squares. Press squares into 12 ungreased mini muffin cups, shaping edges to form rims 1/4 inch high.

Evenly divide cheese into muffin cups. Top evenly with onions and pimentos. Whisk egg and whipping cream until blended. Spoon about 1 tablespoon mixture into each cup. Bake in 375° oven about 20 minutes till filling is set. Allow to cool 5 minutes before serving.
