Preheat oven to 350°F.
Boil chicken broth. Whisk milk and Featherlight mix together. Mix into the chicken broth and boil until thickened. Remove from heat. Add salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste. In a big bowl, mix together hash browns, cheese, ham, and onion. Add sauce and mix well.
Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake for 45 minutes. Serve hot.
VARIATIONS: Replace the sauce with one recipe of our Cream of Chicken Soup. Add extra cheese to the top of the casserole before baking it.
