Melt 1/4 cup butter in a medium-size saucepan whisk in flour, broth and milk until smooth and thickened. Add wine, if desired, salt and pepper set aside. Sauté mushrooms in remaining butter in a skillet until tender add to sauce. Fold in noodles and chicken pour into a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese bake at 350 degrees until golden, about 20 minutes.
