Cream first four ingredients together. Add flour and knead. Add seeds and knead. Form into four or five long, thin rolls. Chill in waxed paper several hours or freeze.
Slice rolls into "thin dimes." Bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes. If desired, sprinkle with salt while hot. Keep in tightly covered tin. Freezes well.
Fun Fact: Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee, is the birthplace of the blues. Memphis musicians include W.C. Handy, Jerry Lee Lewis, Charlie Rich, B.B. King, Al Green, and Elvis Presley. Nashville is the country music capital of the world. Called Music City USA, it is the home of the famous Grand Ole Opry, which is nothing less than an American institution.
