Ingredients

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2/3 cup light cream
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Combine sugar, brown sugar, light cream, and butter in heavy saucepan. Bring to boil cook to soft ball stage (236°F), stirring often to prevent sticking. Cool without stirring to (100°F). Add vanilla. Beat until mixture becomes thick. Add chopped nuts.
