Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and continue cooking to 252°F hard ball stage. Beat egg whites until fluffy. Add gelatin and beat until mixture forms peaks. Pour a thin stream of hot syrup, slowly into beaten egg whites. Beat until the mixture holds its shape. Add coconut and chopped pecans.
