Mom’s Sandwich Spread


Serves: 10

Ingredients

1 pound bologna, coarsely chopped
1 onion, coarsely chopped
1 (16-ounce) jar sweet pickle, drained and coarsely chopped
1 green pepper, coarsely chopped
1 mayonnaise-style salad dressing to taste
1 loaf sliced white bread

Directions:

Combine all ingredients except salad dressing and bread in a meat grinder. Process to desired consistency. Stir in salad dressing to taste. Assemble sandwiches.

Tip: Make sandwiches ahead of time, slip them into wax paper bags and tuck into a vintage picnic tin…easy to tote and ready to enjoy when you arrive at the reunion!
