Prepare cake according to package directions pour 2 cups of batter into a greased 13" x 9" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes set aside. In a saucepan, melt margarine and caramels remove from heat. Add milk stir well. Pour over cake spread remaining cake batter over caramel mixture. Sprinkle with pecans bake for an additional 30 minutes. Cool before serving.
