1. Heat apples and water to boiling in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to break up apples, until tender.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling. Boil and stir 1 minute.

Slow Cooker Directions: Decrease water to 1/4 cup. Mix all ingredients in 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on high heat setting 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours or until apples are tender stir.
