Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Place chicken pieces, skin-side up, in pan.
In a small bowl, mix preserves, salad dressing and dried soup mix. Spoon sauce over chicken pieces.
Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until chicken is tender.
*Stir dry soup mix to blend before using.
