Place portobellos on a greased cookie sheet. Combine garlic and oil; brush over portobellos. Broil on top rack about 5 minutes. Mix crabmeat and mayonnaise. Place a red pepper half on each portobello, then top with crab mixture. Broil about 3 minutes, until heated through. Top with provolone, and broil 1–2 more minutes until cheese is melted. Cut in wedges.
