Grilled Bacon-Tomato Sandwiches

Ingredients

8 slices precooked bacon
1 tomato , sliced
4 slices Cheddar or American cheese
8 slices wheat bread , divided
1 tablespoon butter , softened

Directions:

Layer bacon, tomato and cheese on 4 slices bread; top with remaining bread. Spread outside of sandwiches with butter. Place sandwiches in a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes, or until golden on both sides.

Tip: Be creative with everyone's favorite, grilled cheese…try sourdough, Italian, rye or egg bread as well as good ol' white bread!
