Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sausage, applesauce, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Shape into 24 meatballs. Place meatballs in a 2-quart baking dish.
In a small bowl, blend tomato soup and water. Pour over meatballs, cover and bake 1 hour, or until meatballs are no longer pink.
