Mix flour, sugar, salt, shortening, and yolk mixture all together until smooth. Roll out half the dough. Place dough into 11" x 15" pan. Sprinkle corn flakes on top. Combine apples, sugar and cinnamon put on top. Roll out remaining dough put on top. Brush with beaten egg white. Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes then reduce heat to 375°F and bake for 25 minutes. While warm, drizzle with powdered sugar frosting.
