Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour and salt. Add milk cook, stirring constantly. Cool. Beat egg yolks and lemon juice until light. Add dates. Beat egg whites and sugar until stiff fold into soufflé. Pour into soufflé dish and bake at 325°F for 1 hour until firm. Serve with whipped cream.
