Place ground beef in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix bread crumbs and broth until thoroughly combined. Add bread mixture, eggs, salt and pepper to ground chuck; combine gently. Form into 8 patties. Grill over medium heat for about 8 minutes on each side, or place on a baking sheet and bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with cheese, bacon, onions and peppers during the last few minutes of cooking.
Tip: Garden-fresh herbs make the best butter. Blend together 1/2 cup butter with 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese and 3 tablespoons chopped chives. Spread over grilled veggies or rolls, this butter is simply delicious!
