Apple Fritters

Ingredients

1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
2 beaten eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
4 apples cored, peeled, and cut into 8 wedges

Directions:

In a bowl, combine the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Dip apples into the batter and fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve with hot maple syrup or confectioners sugar.
