1. Melt butter in 4-quart Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Cook onion, bell pepper and garlic in butter about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.
2. Stir in tomatoes, wine, vegetable juice, clam juice and salt. Heat to boiling reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
3. Stir in fish and clams. Heat to boiling reduce heat. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
4. Stir in shrimp. Heat to boiling reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 5 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork and shrimp are pink and firm. Discard any unopened clams.
