In a medium bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water, between 110 to 115 degrees. Add sugar, oil and buttermilk. In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Blend in yeast mixture. Knead dough one minute on a floured board. Roll dough out to 3/4 to one-inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Let rise for 30 minutes. Arrange on ungreased baking sheets. Bake in a 450-degree oven for 15 minutes, until golden.
