Sauté onions, garlic, and oregano in oil over medium heat until onions are soft, about 3 minutes. Stir in broth and beans; cook until heated through, about 4 minutes. Mash some of the beans against the side of the pot with spoon to thicken soup. Stir in lemon juice; season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese just before serving.
