Cream margarine until fluffy. Gradually add sugar and beat. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in flour and beat until smooth. Add syrup and nuts and mix. Pour into greased 9x13x2-inch pan and bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Do not overbake.
Icing:
In saucepan, combine margarine, sugar, and milk and cook over low heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Let boil for 1 minute without stirring. Remove from heat and add morsels. Stir until melted. Add nuts and mix. Pour icing over brownies while both are hot. Cool. Cut into squares.
