My teenage boys sometimes eat more than this menu illustrates. I sometimes eat this much if I'm exercising a lot (hiking, etc.) or nursing a baby. Less than half this much may fill you up, so make certain to adjust this menu to your individual needs. Success is a feeling, not a number! If you're a stuffer, lighten up your meals a little. Go heavier on the veggies and lighter on the grains. Enjoy the freedom to feel energized, not miserable after a meal. And, snack only on veggies, (unless you're really hungry) especially in the evening. Also, remember to eat slowly and enjoy your food to avoid gastrointestinal distress.
