Although fast-food pizza is not usually an "A" Choice, this particular pizza choice is only 29 percent fat and fits easily into an under-20 percent fat day. Some pizza choices are loaded with extra cheese and meat and can be as high as 50 to 70 percent fat. The "made-from-scratch" pizza in this book or the Pizza Wheels would make even better choices--lower in fat, and higher in complex carbohydrates.
If you order a "B" Choice pizza, make certain to have lowfat food just before, it arrives at your door. I have a big bowl of vegetable beef soup, two slices of whole-grain toast, and an apple. I ALWAYS do this. Otherwise, I eat eight slices of pizza instead of two and any inch-loss is shot for the week!
